Alpacas stole the show at the Mauriceville Country Fair, held on Sunday, 6 December 2009 in the Mauriceville Domain, 10 kilometres north of Masterton.
With a wide variety of stalls, there was plenty of choice.
Music was provided by the Fern and Thistle Pipe Band, the Masterton Municipal Band, the Trad Seven jazz ensemble, and others.
Mauriceville School produced delicious scones with jam and cream, and an opportunity for a sit-down. A variety of other food stalls ensured all tastes were catered for.
